Sheila Runa Lindauer (*1987) is a dancer and choreographer based in the Swiss Alps. Her practice explores the body as a site of perception, intuition and transformation. Rooted in contemporary dance, and Flamenco, her work investigates the relationship between inner experience and physical expression, moving between somatic research and performative practice.

Through movement, she explores states that emerge beyond conscious decision-making, allowing physical knowledge, memory and intuition to become material for composition. Her work often develops in dialogue with sound, space and other artistic disciplines, creating performances that remain open to the unexpected while searching for precise forms.

Sheila trained in Flamenco at the Centro de Arte y Flamenco in Sevilla and in contemporary dance at ZTTS Zürich, alongside further studies in somatic practices and dance therapy. Her artistic research and choreographic work have received several grants, including work grants from the Canton of Schwyz and the Atelier X research fellowship by the Albert Koechlin Foundation.
